Michael J. Myers II is a Master's student in the Education Policy Division of the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated Cum Laude from The State University of New York College at Buffalo in 2007 with a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice. Michael graduated in 2009 from the State University of New York at Binghamton with a Master's of Public Administration. Michael’s research interests include micro and macro education policies; public finance policy; and the socio-political and psychological factors that contribute to the academic achievement of adolescent African American males. He aims to help ameliorate the structural and institutional obstacles that Black Americans from urban, inner-city environments must overcome in order to attain an equitable public education. Michael J. Myers II is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.
